Service Advisor

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers requiring service for their hydraulic-operated equipment
• Listen & gather relevant information from customers and provide clear explanations of available service options
• Coordinate service appointments based on customer needs and availability of our technicians
• Provide initial troubleshooting support and document issues to help with efficient repairs
• Collaborate with service technicians to assess the condition and determine necessary repairs for hydraulic equipment
• Present service estimates to the customer and get their approval before proceeding
• Coordinate the ordering and arrival of necessary parts & materials for the repairs to minimize downtime for the customer
• Keep the customer informed about the status of their service appointments, including delays or expected issues
• Conduct a thorough inspection of the completed repair to verify the quality and workmanship

We're seeking a Service Advisor for our Customer Care team who will provide prompt and efficient customer service for the construction equipment we manufacture. You will communicate between our in-house technicians and the customer, offering guidance and support during the service process. Our Ideal Service Advisor:

• Experienced: Must have basic computer skills and a previous customer service or service advisory role in the automotive or heavy equipment industry. 2 years of mechanical experience are preferred but not required.
• Skilled: Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hydraulic systems and small engines.
• Computer Skills: Understands Google Suite, Salesforce, and QuickBooks.
• Active: Able to lift 60 pounds.
• Excellent Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Interpersonal Skills: Able to build good client relationships and trust by listening and providing excellent service. Committed to regular communication and follow-up with each person.
• Detailed & Organized: Identify and determine the cause of a needed repair. Thoroughly assess service projects and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional: You are committed to upholding high standards of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with customers and coworkers.
